The data collected is evaluated by artificial intelligence to predict trends. In doing so, it also takes into consideration the nearest weather forecast. As a result, it formulates personalized recommendations, which it then offers you in the app. These will guide you to add the right treatment product, in the ideal amount and at the best time. In this simple way, you can avoid unpleasant surprises such as murky water or skin irritation. In addition, appropriate dosing of disinfectants is an environmentally friendly solution that can save you time and money. If you do not add treatment products to the water manually but use automatic equipment such as pumps, electrolyzers, etc., the ICO app can advise you on their correct use and setting.

A user-friendly app as your guide

The ICO mobile app becomes your handy assistant that is always at your fingertips. You will find an overview of key information (last measurement data), a color-coded real-time water quality index, battery level, and a notification bulletin. You will also find graphs summarising water quality trends by day, week, and month. In addition to individual chemical treatment, the app will give you plenty of advice on maintaining your paradise of relaxation. For example, it will help you to optimize your filtration time or remind you of maintenance and filter cleaning days. The recommendations are personalized based on the measurements taken and the parameters entered for your pool. Last but not least, it allows you to share the ICO data (measurements, recommendations) with your family or a selected specialist so that anyone can easily take charge of the water quality in your absence. Need to manage several pools? No problem! The app offers them all in a clear carousel.


The free ICO app is available for iOS (from version 8.0) and Android smartphones. It is available in several languages, including Czech, English, Hungarian, and Romanian.

Low-maintenance, easy-to-use

Press the start button on the device and download the app to your smartphone or tablet before putting it in the water. You then drop the ICO V2 into the water and use the app to configure access to your home WiFi network and the parameters of your pool. You don't have to worry about anything else – everything works automatically. The continuous operation of the analyzer is ensured by a long-life lithium-ion battery. If you only use it during the season, just recharge it at the beginning of the season using the included USB cable. In case of year-round use, you will need to recharge the battery twice. You can check its status at any time in the ICO app. Also, the sensors are designed to require only a minimum of your attention. With normal use, they will last up to 3 years. All sensors, except the water temperature sensor, can be easily replaced at any time without having to buy a completely new unit. Each sensor has a specific color, so you can easily recognize it when replacing it.

Note: Connect the ICO V2 directly to your home router via WiFi, or use an extender (not included) to extend WiFi coverage near the pool and in the garden.

Highly durable construction and elegant design

The outer shell of this monitor is made of ABS, it is resistant to UV rays, chemical water treatment products, as well as children playing. You can leave the ICO V2 permanently bobbing on the water surface. It has IP68 certification, and a robust and functional design so that it won't get in the way when you're bathing or swimming, and you can submerge it without worry. However, you can remove it from the water if you wish. Don't forget to place the caps on the individual sensors and wet the sponges inside. This will help to extend the life of these sensors. If you do not use the ICO for a long time, you can temporarily suspend the measurements. For winter storage, don't hesitate to put it back in the box, protected from dust, to have it ready in the best possible conditions at the start of the next season.

Compatible with home automation systems

This ICO Pool model is compatible with systems using salt for water treatment. On the other hand, it is not suitable for controlling water treated with active oxygen products. You can place it in any swimming pool regardless of whether it is indoor, outdoor, ground, or above ground. It also works with all types of devices that care about water clarity – sand filters, pumps with or without variable speed motors, etc. The ICO is also highly adaptable with a variety of home automation systems including Alexa, Edoomus, Jeedom, and Home Assistant! So it will complement your smart home perfectly!
