Do you enjoy sending the Ozobot on funny and tricky paths that you draw on paper? This set of colored markers with a double-sided tip will help you realize the full potential of your little robot. The thicker one is great for drawing guidelines and codes, while the finer one is ideal for filling in information and writing. Create roads, mazes, and maps while building serious STEAM skills!
The markers are designed for both the Ozobot EVO and BIT+, and the width of their footprint is matched directly to their sensors. This helps Ozobots better navigate your routes and turns, eliminating the need for frequent calibration.
In the package, you will find 5 large markers in blue, green, red, and black. Apart from a sheet of paper, you don't need anything else to get coding. The markers also make it easy to quickly create calibration points so you can fully focus on the fun game and challenges of drawing codes with commands.

Enjoy creative programming to the max
Are you already a master of programming on paper? Then stock up on markers to easily draw paths for your Ozobot. The pack contains 5 colorful, non-toxic markers with double-sided tips. Their width and yield are precisely matched to the sensors of both Evo / Bit+ models. The larger chisel tip, when held correctly, will create an easy-to-read 5mm wide track for Ozobot to follow seamlessly when programming. Stickers with colored ozocodes can be applied to the black lines, or the codes can be drawn behind the black line. The robot will unerringly execute the command you enter to read them. For example, you can make it dance, put it into turbo speed, or make it run backward! The thin tip on the other side of the marker can handle even thin lines and is ideal for filling in information or writing answers to tricky questions.Make playing and learning even more fun
Ozobot responds correctly to commands when its light sensors are calibrated for the substrate currently in use. With the help of markers, you can create a calibration point within close range of the game area each time. The double-sided markers save you space in your pencil case and time you would otherwise waste searching for stronger/weaker markers during Ozobot lessons – just flip the one you have in your hand! You can easily wash marker marks off your skin with soap and warm water. Wash clothes soiled with them immediately in warm water with mild detergent (no prewashing or bleaching). Keep them out of contact with porous materials such as wood, PVC, etc.Tips for drawing codes
To keep Ozobot whizzing along the track without a hitch, it's a good idea to follow a few rules when drawing lines and codes. Use only plain white paper. Draw black lines without breaks. Colored ozocodes should be connected to them without gaps and should be placed only on the straight lines of your route so that the robot can read them with maximum accuracy. If you want to change the color code, it is best to relabel it with a new one. Don't be afraid to liven up your original track with all sorts of curves or crosses! Just don't make turns and bends at sharp angles, and remember that at an intersection with no preceding ozocode, the bot will decide which way to go. In 2012, Ozobot came up with a new small robot prototype, and after 2 years of development, the robot was presented at the largest consumer electronics fair in Las Vegas. In the next years, children and students all over the world quickly took a liking to it. Since then, the Ozobot company has been making fun programmable robots for the next generation.
The mission of Ozobots is to inspire young people to develop new technologies, instead of passively using them. Currently, the entire Ozobot concept perfectly fulfills the principles of STEAM education – linking polytechnic fields and a creative approach to developing a sustainable future.
