Perfection based on technical details

Great effort has been devoted to developing the Rainbow bulb in MiPow. Simple but thoughtful details move the bulb's functionality further than you would expect. In addition to the special shape, the light distribution part is equipped with a filter that allows better colour penetration. The resulting perception of collared light is then much more vivid and natural, and illuminated objects are not aggressively lit.

Rainbow can be installed in standard screws E26 / E27. If you want to install Rainbow in a different screw socket, you can use the appropriate adapter. The bulb consumes 5 watts and provides a brightness of 280 lumens for 30,000 hours, providing you with significant savings compared to a conventional bulb.

How does it all work?

Free Playbulb X companion application is a part of light bulb set. When you turn on the Bluetooth function on your device, it serves as an intuitive remote control for setting up all the features of the Rainbow bulb and other Playbulb products. The application also allows you to control and set up groups of light bulbs that you have, for example, in individual rooms. You can adjust the brightness of the bulbs, choose the colour, choose the effects or start the set scenes..

You can also use several effects and other features. Shaking the device on which you have the app installed will trigger a random light. In the app, you can also set your favourite light as a welcome and enjoy a warm home atmosphere when you come home. You can also choose your favourite light to wake up to. Moreover, you can also choose one of 4 effects, including stable rainbow light, fading, flashing or pulsating light.

The light bulb is smart and self-reliant

The control works comfortably from a range of 10 m with Bluetooth 4.0 Smart wireless transmission, while maintaining the light switch function. Another inconspicuous but very useful feature is the ability of the bulb to automatically update its firmware - the OTA function relieves you of the chore to check for current software versions.

Playbulb X Application

Playbulb X Companion App is free to download for systems iOS devices (requires iOS 8.0+, compatible with iPhone 4S +, iPad 3+, iPod 5th Generation +), and Android (requires 4.3+ on Bluetooth 4.0 enabled devices). Application is in Czech, Slovak, English and other languages.
