You can use the electrodes repeatedly, approximately 20–30 times. Their lifetime can be supported by applying them to dry and clean skin and storing them appropriately. Store preferably in the original resealable container to prevent the conductive gel from drying out. The electrodes and gel are made of high-quality non-allergenic materials and are adapted to improve conductivity and current dissipation during electrotherapy. Size M is ideal for treating larger areas whether you choose a program from the Cure, Relax or Tone category. The Bluetens Get Better app will recommend the exact placement for the most effective effect. These electrodes are equipped with a magnetic attachment system, for this reason, they are only compatible with the Bluetens Classic 2 electrostimulator.

Tips for the correct use of electrodes

Because of the polarity, you may feel that some of the electrodes are not working – no worries, the electrodes work correctly and independently. If you wish, you can turn the electrostimulator off and slightly adjust their position so that they are correctly positioned on the nerve endings. The electrodes must not overlap on the skin. At the same time, make sure that the cable is properly connected to the Bluetens stimulator. If the electrodes dry out, you can gently rub 1 or 2 drops of water into the gel section with your fingers. It is advisable to replace the electrodes if their adhesion deteriorates or if you feel tingling after starting the program.

Make sure the skin is clean and dry before placing the electrodes.

Touch the adhesive part of the electrodes as little as possible.

When the electrotherapy session is finished, place the electrodes back on the transparent foil.

Place the electrodes in the case provided with the Bluetens Classic 2 or in their plastic bag to protect them.

Keep away from heat sources.

Store them in a dry place at 5–25 °C temperature.

Important warning: People with pacemakers or predisposition to epileptic seizures should not take Bluetens. The use of an electrostimulator is not recommended for pregnant women, people suffering from hernia and eventration. People with heart disease must avoid using electrodes in areas around the heart. You should also not use Bluetens if you have implants or metal prostheses, heart disease or arrhythmia, diabetes (with a loss of sensitivity), severe blood circulation disorders in legs.
